I want to get whatever is best to use with this software. I have a lot of x10 stuff, and remote things, also have x10 cameras, and security. My main inteface now is x10 activehome pro CM15a which I believe is not supported now, I also have a few firecrachers laying arond, but they do not seem to be the best to use. what is the best option for my goals, lighting, security, cameras, remote controls. Looking for items and best place to purchase, thanks to anyone that can assist

          For just X10, I suggest a CM11A. Link

If by "remote things" you mean X10-RF, then I suggest a W800RF. Link

so you recommend that over an insteon, got the impression it would do X10, and more, also if you recommended Insteon would you still recommend the same W800rf as well, and let me add I also want to control remote type devices as tv's etc as well

Well, if you also want Insteon, the USB or Serial PowerLinc is what you want. FYI, it does not do X10 so well, which is why I have the CM11A plus this.

Regarding wireless, I don't believe anything has been released for Insteon yet. When those things do come, older Signalincs won't work with them.

I would still suggest a W800 for all of the X10 wireless goodies you can use.
