Ok, I have started to dabble with PH on and off now... And it is time to do it alittle more... I have a CM11A RS232 module and a few X10 outlets and Light switches. I also have a 16 port temp sensor/contact sensor(open or closed) that has it's own web engine (so I can pull data) I plan on using this for a few diffrent types of projects.. .ofcourse temp sensor, I also will use this as a moisture/water sensor.

I've been meaning to put something together anyway, so this may be another reason.
  Stay tuned.
The wireless security devices can be used if you have a WGL W800 RF receiver. The motion detectors and door/window sensors are the most popular.

 Actions

Turn on/off lights when there is/is not motion.

 Announce reminders for:

 Picking up kids from practice.
 Taking the trash out.
 A kitchen timer implemented with a table-top controller that has buttons labeled for various time values (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, 60 minutes).
 Washer/dryer load complete

Wake me up for work by speaking a wake up announcement, then, after motion is detected, announce the current temperature/humidity and the forecast for that day.

Turning on essential lights and A/V equipment when someone returns home, announce how many calls were received while people were gone, and what the last persons CID info was. I also have my system send my mobile phone text messages that contain CID info as calls come in when no one is home. I also get text messages if motion detectors or door/window switches are activated.

Shut down lights/devices when leaving the house.

When someone is home and a phone call comes in, any playing audio is paused and the CID info is spoken.

Close blinds, if open, at sunset.

Turn on porch/holiday lights at sunset and off at sunrise.

Custom doorbell sounds. Added code so that the bell can't be triggered more than once every 30 seconds ;) .

Snap a picture of anyone ringing the doorbell, and send a text message to mobile phone if no one is home.

Snap a picture of anyone entering the house if it had been shut down.
