Hi,
I am writing a macro to work with a keypadlinc and am experiencing some odd behaviour. The macro is run via trigger on a insteon device change for button 1 on the keypadlinc. In some cases the trigger and work fine and other times the keypadlinc button 1 flashes for a few seconds. I think I read somewhere that indicates a communication error. Any ideas what the keypadlinc is doing when it flashes like that?

A flashing KeypadLinc button when pressed indicates that one or more Insteon devices linked to that button did not respond with an ACK to the Group commands sent as a result of the button press. The button flashes when the Group command is being retried. Generally means a powerline communication problem of some kind. Access points that are not on opposite 120v legs, noise on the powerline, the PowerLinc Controller (PLC) or PowerLinc Modem (PLM) is not receiving a good powerline signal because it is being attenuated by a PC or UPS power supply, etc.
